Bok transformed an abandoned technical high school in South Philadelphia into a vibrant, creative community for artists and entrepreneurs. The building utilizes original classrooms to accommodate a variety of unique tenants, including glassblowers, restaurants, bakers, furniture designers, showrooms, nonprofits, and more. The developer embraces light-touch renovations, repairing the building’s found condition and reusing as much as possible. The building includes high-volume spaces, hardwood floors, and rooftop terraces. All renovations made preserve the historic, Art Deco exterior from 1938. Bok also houses a rooftop bar, a dog park, and hosts temporary art installations and pop up shops.
