Fire Protection Design|

This six-story building houses 68 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, with two-story lofts on the 6th floor. It also includes three artist workspaces and a 5,200 SF office space on the ground floor. 

This luxury residential building features nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows. Each apartment has its own individually controlled heat and AC and utilizes energy-efficient LED lighting. Stainless steel Energy Star appliances are used throughout. 520 Hamilton also features amenities such as a 24/7 fitness center, a rooftop deck, and lounge, and an off-street, controlled access parking garage.

MEP/FP Special Features

Individual gas-fired water heaters provide combination heat and domestic hot water for each apartment to simplify installation and minimize ongoing equipment maintenance

Closet mounted air handlers with a DX cooling coil, heating hot water coil, and integral pump/timer provide apartment space conditioning

All outdoor equipment is roof-mounted

Electricity for each apartment is utility metered, consisting of meter banks located in electrical closets on each floor

Gas is sub-metered and medium gas pressure is distributed to each apartment and regulated at the apartment for use by the water heater

A diesel generator provides emergency power for elevators and egress lighting
